“I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in.” Matthew 25:35

Hungry kids are more likely to experience serious short- and long-term health issues. They tend to have trouble learning and are more prone to behavioral and emotional problems. In an effort to lessen these effects on the local children at Mineral Wells Elementary School the SAK PAK program provides brown bag meals to children whose families are struggling financially to feed them when school is not in session on weekends, holidays and summer months. This program is 100% funded by donations and fundraising therefore we need your help! Anyone interested in getting involved can do so in several ways. We are always in need of volunteers to help us pack bags twice a month at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church. We would love to have you join our team! Also, you may choose to sponsor a child or give a tax deductible donation. Contact us for more information on how you can join us in continuing to serve Christ and the children in our community.

Every child has a future worth fighting for!
